HUFO 65 is a centrifugal adiabatic humidifier with adjustable capacity ranging from 1,3 to 6,5 lt/hour specifically designed for use in controlled atmosphere plants.
The unit works on the principle of water nebulisation and its’ expulsion via a self-generated air flow.
The HUFO 65 is normally hung from the ceiling and directed towards the evaporator to maximize the the air distribution and circulation inside the cell.
The system is less sensitive to problems connected with hard water and lime-scale deposits than other humidifying systems.
The system automatically discharges any excess water and empties the system at the end of each humidification cycle.
Optionally, an anti-freeze resistence may be fitted on-board in case of storage at negative temperatures (eg. kiwi, pears) extending the field of operation to –2°C.
The system is controlled by a provided specific electro-hydraulic control panel and three types of activation are possible:
- Timer control
- humidity sensor control
- totally integrated in the electronic plant management software (GAC)

ABSOTIL is made from allumina pellets , with a purple colour due to the presence of potassium permanganate.
ABSOTIL may be used for horticultural-floricultural product storage (kiwi, cut flowers, vegetables etc.).
Ethylene and other harmful gases such as hydrocarbons and SO2 become oxidized.
ABSOTIL ensures complete and continuous purification inside the storage cells.
Thanks its’ high porosity, the product remains active until completely saturated , even internally.
In order to guarantee high standards, each production batch is made following certified ISO 9001 procedures, and is checked for the following parameters: size, humidity, crush strength, abrasion resistance, ethylene absorption capacity e specific weight .

Vinilflex is a non-toxic, non-flammable product, with no unpleasant odour and therefore suitable for use in poorly ventilated environments, with good resistance to atmospheric agents and good elasticity. Specific weight: 1,40 ((± 0,05) kg/l.
The product is ready for use. For spray-painting , the product must be diluted with just enough water . The product must be applied and stored at temperatures no lower than +7° C.
Drys in 2-3 hours. However times may vary due to the thickness of the film applied, temperature and environmental humidity .
The product is prepared in buckets of 23Kg. Each (nett. weight)
Vinilflex may be used for waterproofing roofing or masonry in civil and industrial building works , for the realization and reconditioning of old waterproofing in cold stores. Excellent for coating together with glass fibre on metal panels.
The typical consumption on a panel ( normally 3 coats using roller are forecast ,of which one is for coating the glass fibre, is 40gr/m2 for the joints and 2 coats on the entire panel surface) is generally about 0,7÷ 1,2 kg/m2.

SAFETY VALVES WITH PRESSURE GAUGE
These valves limit the small pressure variations (positive and negative-up to 10÷20 mm water column) that may occur during the storage period, within the tolerated values of the structure, and according to the pre-set calibration.
The FCE valves , designed with the main aim of guaranteeing plant safety, allow the depressions or over-pressures to be unloaded and therefore protect the integrity of the gastight cells.
A characteristic of our valves is the possibility to regulate the pressure limits .
Compensation lungs are special gastight tents made from coated PVC, made to measure for each cell and normally equal to 5% of the cell volume .
Their installation allows compensation of cell volume variations due to air cooling or can be used as a tank for the accumulation of nitrogen in the case of NRS system installation .
FLOW CONTROL VALVES
Fruit Control Equipments entirely designs and realizes the CA management plant and takes care of creating the flow-distribution line running from the machines to the cells and vice versa.
Automatic control is carried out using specific valves of the appropriate diameter which can be mounted in different positions, and even on specific manifolds, depending on the needs of the plant .
A wide range of sensors may be installed in the FCE plants for control of various parameters relative to the processed air.
The sensors may be interfaced with the FCE computerized CA management system or their outputs connected to the customers’ control system or refrigeration plant.
Specific control panels (Verdi, Vivaldi ) can be made to order assembling them together and containing the logics for the controlling the sensors.
The range of sensors may include :

- Sulphurous acid sensors
The FCE analysis apparatus may be interfaced with a gas chromatograph to analize various gases, in particular to detect minimal quantities of ethylene in the case of storage of those products with high sensitivity to this gas (kiwi, etc)

Fruit Control Equipments also deals with the supply of insulating panels for thermal insulation of the storage cells, doors and inspection windows (port-holes) as well as other accessories for controlled atmosphere .
For example gas cylinders, breathing apparatus, Gaswatch (safety watches that signal low atmospheric oxygen) , pressure gauges, penetrometers, refractometers and kits for manual SO2 analysis and fruit alcohol content analyses.
